My personal experience at MMI was great!
Brad Bryant, one of our graduates from the Recording and Music Technology program at MMI in 2009, recently connected with us on Facebook. He was kind enough to share his experience with us.
I was able to do some great things during my time at MMI. I was a tutor for Audio Engineering and Pro Tools classes and obtained/completed an internship with Wisconsin Public Radio. The first internship I received after graduating (between WPR and Sony) was for 2 days a week as a tester at a video game developer in Green Bay, WI, Frozen Codebase. All of these were great learning experiences and, of course, a lot of fun!
My experience at MMI was great!
The first job I took at Sony was as an Intern with the Customer Service Department. Within a few months I was a full-time Rep, and only a handful of months later, I was lucky enough to land the position of Supervisor, Customer Service and Technical Support. It was at Sony Creative Software in Middleton, WI. We supported their full line of editing software: Vegas, Sound Forge, ACID, etc. I was the supervisor there for 2 1/2 years, then got lucky again when I obtained a position in the IT department as a Network Systems Administrator. I was in that role for just about 2 years before leaving the company.
Thank you, Brad, and please stay in touch again.
